Eight-output access power control

The Altronix ACM8 converts one 12–24VAC or VDC source into eight independently controlled, fuse-protected outputs for electric locks and related access-control hardware.

Key capabilities

• Eight individually triggered fused outputs
• Accepts 12–24VAC or VDC input power
• Outputs can provide switched power or dry Form C relay contacts
• Triggering from an access controller, reader, keypad, push button, PIR, or other compatible dry/open-collector source
• Fire-alarm interface for configured emergency release functions

Board only: Low-voltage power supply, enclosure, transformer, batteries, locks, controller, and wiring are sold separately. The connected supply and each branch circuit must be sized for actual lock inrush, continuous current, voltage drop, and standby requirements.

Fail-safe and fail-secure hardware must be selected for the opening and code requirements. Fire-alarm release wiring does not replace required mechanical egress, and a request-to-exit input should not be used as the sole means of unlocking an occupied egress door.
