Field retrofit for Adams Rite 82/84/86/88/P88 exit devices

The Command Access MLRK1-AR converts compatible Adams Rite 82, 84, 86, 88 and P88 Series exit devices, plus GAAB G352 Series devices, to motorized latch retraction. It is a retrofit kit for the exit device rail, not a complete exit device.

Ordering notes

A built-in REX switch is optional; confirm the ordered configuration and included components. Exit device, power supply, power transfer, controller and field wiring are sold separately unless specifically stated.

Installation and life-safety notes

• Confirm the exact exit-device series, rail length, revision, handing and listing before installation.
• Use a regulated power supply and door-loop or electrified power transfer sized for the complete opening.
• A REX contact, when fitted, is for monitoring; it is not the sole means of unlocking or egress. Mechanical free egress must remain available.
• Follow the manufacturer instructions and applicable fire, building and accessibility codes. Installation by a qualified door-hardware or low-voltage professional is recommended.
